The award, presented annually at the hospital's Chairman's Circle dinner, honors individuals whose leadership, dedication and spirit have had a profound impact on Suburban Hospital and on the health and quality of life of the surrounding community.
According to Leslie Ford Weber , executive vice president of the Foundation, Martin Kamerow exemplifies the substance of this award, having tirelessly- more -
championed the core values of Suburban and its fundraising efforts for more than 10 years. During his tenure on both the hospital system and Foundation boards, Mr. Kamerow helped the organization to raise in excess of $44 million to assure quality healthcare services for the community.
The Suburban Hospital Foundation raises funds to support a wide range of services provided by Suburban Hospital , a not-for-profit healthcare organization that has been serving Montgomery County , Maryland for more than 60 years. Key centers of specialized care include emergency/trauma, cardiology, neurosciences/stroke, orthopedics and oncology.
