
Suburban Hospital is committed to providing quality programs and services to promote health and wellness in the community and at worksites. Whether you have a specific health concern or just want to stay in good health and prevent disease, we have a program for you. Our programs will increase health awareness, build important skills, and motivate participants to take charge of their health.
Classes and events are available in Nutrition, Lifestyle Management, Physical Fitness, Cancer Care, Health and Safety, Diabetes Management, and more. To browse our current classes and events, click here. We also regularly hold health screenings and support groups for specific medical conditions.
Suburban Hospital also has a Speaker's Bureau with medical professionals available to speak to your group on a wide range of health topics. This free community service can be arranged by calling 301.896.3939.
Cancellation Policy Please note that you MUST cancel 24 hours before your session begins, in order to receive a refund. However, a $5.00 processing fee will be charged for canceling the reservation. If you paid by credit card, a $5.00 fee will be charged to your credit card account. If you paid by check, a refund will be sent to you, minus the $5.00 processing fee. If you DO NOT cancel your registration 24 hours prior to the start of your session, you will be charged the FULL program fee amount. To cancel, please call Suburban On-Call at 301.896.3939, press option two (2), and leave a voice mail with your name, phone number and class information. If you choose to cancel registration for a multi-week course or series once it has begun, you can receive a credit voucher equal to the amount you paid minus a $15 processing fee. Suburban Hospital WellWorks classes, seminars, and programs follow Montgomery County Public School closings and/or delays for inclement weather.
Classes will not be held if Montgomery County Public Schools are closed or if they close early (relevant for evening classes). When schools are delayed, programs held during the delayed period are cancelled. All other programs will meet as scheduled.
